Tebis Version 3.4 R4:
Even more user-friendly.
V3.4 R4, available since early November, is the latest update to Version 3.4. In addition to many optimizations, it also provides enhancements like toolbars that can be configured by each individual user.
User-configurable toolbars
One of the highlights of V3.4 R4 are toolbars that can be freely configured by the user. This ensures fast and continuous access to a variety of functions.
By combining specific toolbars, you can create useful additions to the function group selected in the main menu. You can now directly access any functions that are frequently required for specific problems, without having to close the function group opened in the main menu.
Depending on your requirements, you can individually display all toolbars in horizontal or vertical orientation and display and hide them as needed.
Faster access to files
You can directly open the most recently loaded files using a new command in the pull-down menu. In addition, you no longer have to close the current file when you want to open another.
Adapting surfaces to boundary curves
A function for adapting surfaces to boundary curves has been added to the Advanced Surface Design module. Use the FILL-N function to easily generate fill surfaces with more than four boundary curves. Corners can be blended quickly and easily as well. Using drag arrows, you can influence the curvature characteristics of the generated surface and you can assess the quality of the surfaces by activating the integrated analysis. As an option, you can create a tangential connection between the fill surfaces and the surrounding surfaces.
Improved feature filter
The filter function of the feature scanner has been expanded considerably. The system now compares the geometries recognized by the scanner with the elements in the feature library even more systematically, and will display only the feature actually recognized in the selection list. This enhancement allows you to insert the desired features significantly faster.
Improved head collision control
The collision check in the 5-Axis Trimming and 5-Axis Laser cutting modules has been revised. You no longer require a replacement model of the head geometry for the collision check during programming and when verifying the calculated NC paths. The system uses the exact geometry data of the stored head.
Laying out jigs and fixtures
When creating jigs in the 5-Axis Trimming and 5-Axis Laser Cutting modules, you can control the display and labeling of stanchions and bottom plates via a new dialog. In addition to a user-definable color representation, you can now also select the font size. Once the values are set, the system will use them as default values.
