Basic colors Tebis Browser
? I have downloaded the Tebis Browser from www.tebis.com/browser. The basic colors of the components to be viewed are slightly too bright for me. Can I adjust this somehow?
During the installation of the Browser, the system automatically creates a "session" directory. In this folder, you will find the "colors.txt“ file where all color values are defined. Tebis accesses this color file by default. Other color files are supplied as well and are stored in the "cnf" directory of your Tebis installation. You now can exchange the color file from your session directory with one of the two other color files.
Here's how you do it
1. Delete the "colors.txt“ file from your session directory.
2. Open the "cnf“ folder of your Tebis installation. This folder contains three color files:
colors_1.txt: This file features calm and relatively dark lighting.
colors_2.txt: This file is characterized by "standard" lighting. It is used as the default color file in all Tebis applications with the standard user interface.
colors_3.txt: This file features vibrant and colorful lighting. It is used as the default color file in all Tebis applications with the New Edition user interface. In the Tebis Browser, this file corresponds with the color file from the session directory.

3. Copy the desired color file to your session directory and rename it as "colors.txt“.
4. The next time the program is started, the Tebis application will access the new colors.txt file.
Other tips:
- The cnf menu also contains a colors.txt file. The system will access this file if it cannot find a color.txt file in the session directory.
- As a rule, all Tebis applications will use the setting files that are available in the "session“ directory.
