Cheto opens new headquarters

Cheto Corporation in Portugal hosted an open house at its new headquarters and manufacturing building in Oliveira de Azeméis. Around 250 customers and national and international partners accepted the invitation, learned about the wide variety of offers and celebrated into the evening in a relaxing atmosphere.

Cheto, a manufacturer of deep-hole drilling and milling machines and a Tebis partner, held an opening ceremony for its new corporate headquarters on September 1, 2017. Thanks to strong growth, the company has expanded by moving to the 10,000-square-meter site in Oliveira de Azeméis, Portugal. In addition to the new manufacturing building, the site houses offices and a development, assembly and training center. Around 250 guests visited the manufacturing facility, inspected the new machines and learned about Cheto's multifunctional concept for mold manufacturers and other service providers. A very special feature: Cheto combines various technologies, from drilling to milling to hammer peening, in a single machine.

Cooperation for the future

Tebis is a global expert partner of Cheto and was represented with a booth at the open house. Tebis experts there presented CAD/CAM software solutions as well as implementation and consulting services. Prospective buyers could benefit from a special offer with preferred terms: Anyone who purchased a Cheto machine received a discount on a special Tebis software package. Pedro Bernardo, managing director of Tebis Portugal, is pleased by the successful cooperation with Cheto. "We wish our Portuguese partner great success in this new development phase and look forward to a long partnership."
