Moulding Expo successfully concluded

07/17/2017

Tebis draws a positive response after Moulding Expo 2017 in Stuttgart: Many visitors were interested in the new Release 4 and the Proleis MES. Feedback was fully positive. Tebis wishes to thank all of the visitors to its booth for the interesting discussions and exciting days at the trade fair.

From May 30 to June 2, the Moulding Expo, an international trade fair for die, mold model and mold manufacturing, was held for the second time in Stuttgart, Germany. Tebis was present with its partner DCAM. Visitors to the booth were met with eye-catching signage this year. Large banners for the Tebis campaign "If machines were to decide..." clearly showed how Tebis increases machines’ "heart rates": With Tebis, they efficiently and reliably manufacture high-quality masterpieces.

Convincing new developments

Many interested visitors stopped by the Tebis booth and spoke with Tebis experts throughout the four day fair. The industry professionals posed specialized questions, especially regarding the innovations in Tebis Version 4.0 Release 4. From new adaptive roughing strategies for milling prismatic parts, to improved NC programming in 5-axis milling and simplified manufacturing preparation: Visitors experienced the highlights of Tebis software for themselves at eight workstations and responded enthusiastically.

Efficiently plan, control and monitor production

Even in single-part manufacturing, almost nothing works without good organization and planning. Tebis therefore also focused on the Proleis manufacturing execution system (MES) from close partner ID Ingenieursgesellschaft für Datentechnik mbH. In a presentation spanning four monitors, Tebis showed how the MES supports manufacturing operations throughout the value-creation chain. Project managers can always see the big picture with Proleis: Project processes become transparent with the clear linking of data from planning and manufacturing. This enables more efficient project planning, control and monitoring.
