Fully equipping a turret in a simulation

I want to use the planning functions in Tebis simulation for a lathe. I replace the tools in sequence in manual mode by clicking the "Tool" button in the simulation. But I always check only the tool that is in the active turret space. Is it possible to run the check with the turret fully equipped?

You can completely equip the turret and thus simulate the status of the actual machine. If you have created a corresponding tool set, you can also equip the turret all at once with this tool set.

Here's how you do it

1.

In addition to the "Head" parameter field, use the "Forward" and "Back" buttons to select the turret space you want to equip.

2.

Click "Tool". The "Tool selection" dialog opens.

3.

Select the desired tool. The previously selected turret space is equipped. Equip additional turret spaces, if necessary.

4.

To fully equip the turret with a previously defined tool set, click "Select complete equipment". The "Tool set selection" dialog opens.

5.

Select the desired tool set. The turret is completely equipped. You can also use the "Forward" and "Back" buttons to adjust the equipment afterwards.

Hints

Open the context-sensitive help on the machine control panel in manual mode to learn more about how to control the simulation.

Countless studies show: 40 to 50 percent of a plant’s entire throughput time is caused by unnecessary idle periods. This is often due to a flawed material flow. In 90 percent of cases, idle periods can be drastically reduced by…
