From reality to CAD: Digitized Data Processing is a very powerful software tool that you can use to quickly transfer an existing physical object to CAD. Tebis uses triangulation methods to generate high-quality meshes from original data from various scanner systems or previously calculated STL data. You can use powerful editing functions to further edit the meshes, such as for milling or for reverse engineering

Benefits

  • Generate first-class mesh models
  • Optimal preparation of subsequent reverse-engineering and CAM processes

Specifications

  • Read-in of digitized data
  • Generation of high-quality meshes from digitized data
  • Analysis of mesh data
  • Easy modification of mesh data, e.g., stamping, filling, smoothing or connecting
  • Generation of mesh offsets
  • Generation of intersection curves

Applications

  • Preparation for reverse engineering
  • Representation of blank geometry in CAD/CAM processes
  • Preparation of scanned parts for milling
