The Active Surface Preparation add-on lets you prepare geometrically exact parts without the need for workaround definition of NC attributes such as machining allowances or wall thickness (pressure and relief areas). You can easily generate contour surfaces. The generated geometry can be used directly for NC manufacturing. Recommended in conjunction with the Exact Solid Preparation add-on.

  • Greater reliability, as offset surfaces can be validly checked for collisions without virtual machining allowances
  • Simplified NC programming, as exact surfaces can be easily split up in milling areas
