Area Sales Manager UK

Your perspectives

As part of our continuous growth and further internationalization, you will augment our team as an Area Sales Manager at our UK subsidiary in Coventry.

Your Tasks

  • Cold contact calling
  • Lead generation from exhibition contacts, internet research and technical partners
  • Developing prospects from our existing and state of the art Salesforce CRM database
  • Meeting with prospects and existing customers to develop the long term business relationship
  • Coordinating technical presentations to best demonstrate how our products meet client needs
  • Managing and interpreting customer requirements
  • Speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs
  • Generating sales proposals and contracts, closing the deal
  • Maintaining records of customer communication and sales activity in our CRM system
  • Working with the application team to ensure schedules and deliveries are being met
  • Attending and/or participating in trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Successfully developing sales campaigns

Your Profile

  • Technical final degree or equivalent qualification
  • Sales experience related to CAD/CAM software or CNC machine tool industry
  • Succeeded in accomplishing sales tasks under your own authority
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, CNC machining or CAD/CAM is a strong plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office incl. PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • A current UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively in the UK
