Tebis supports the Mitternachtsbus (midnight bus) routes in Hamburg

Tebis is supporting the homeless aid project with a donation once again this year. The situation in Hamburg, Germany, is unchanged: Over 2,000 people still live on the streets. The midnight bus team is there for the many homeless people, helping to ensure that no one freezes to death on the streets of Hamburg during the winter.

Since 1996, the midnight bus of the Hamburg Diakonie (social welfare organization) has cared for more than 1,000 homeless persons living in Hamburg. Every night, a team of volunteers travels a fixed route through Hamburg, serving as a mobile contact point and providing the homeless with hot drinks and food as well as warm clothing and blankets. The midnight bus volunteers not only provide essential supplies, but also contact and care for their fellow human beings. Street social workers regularly accompany individual runs of the midnight bus, offering their professional help. The midnight bus is financed entirely by donations. Tebis AG has assumed the costs for an urgently needed repair to the vehicle and also donated additional funds for purchasing tires.
