In the AnDOCken medical practice, Tebis supports a medical and social practice for undocumented persons

The AnDOCKen medical and social practice office in Hamburg is open to all immigrants from non-EU countries living in the Hanseatic city without a valid residence permit. Visits are confidential and anonymous. A female general practitioner and a female gynecologist/obstetrician treat the patients, who are primarily pregnant women. So, 140 children worldwide were born under the care of this practice in 2016. In addition, the practice always has a female social worker available to answer important questions regarding topics such as residence permits and health insurance. The work of the doctor and the social worker as well as the costs for rent and medications are financed 100% by donations.

Tebis designates its holiday donation specifically to cover costs for medicine, laboratory and treatment costs.
