Saving time in the overall process – CAD for CAM – CAM Automation and the skilled labor shortage
At the industry gathering, interested parties and customers from Germany and other countries learned about topics like CAD/CAM process solutions, measures to counter the skilled labor shortage and other industry trends. Highlights of Technology Days included the Tebis 4.1 Challenge and the extremely well-attended presentation program with Tebis customers and experts.Special emphasis was given to automation and how standardization along the entire process chain enables time savings with simultaneous safe manufacturing thanks to CAM-integrated NC verification.
Tebis UK demonstrated intelligent manufacturing at the MACH 2022 exhibition which was held at the NEC in Birmingham from Monday the 4th to Friday the 8th of April 2022. During the five-day exhibition, our visitors were able to learn more about the latest release of Tebis CAD/CAM software Version 4.1, ProLeiS MES and also the following applications:
The third release of Tebis 4.1 now comes with even more new developments which include: shorter programming times with improved NCJob technology, complete collision control accounting for material removal and automatic detection of 2D areas.
The pandemic has meant that it’s been three years since the last Tebis open house.
However all that is about to change because the company has announced that its 2022 open house will take place from 1-2 June at its headquarters in Martinsried, Germany.
