"Multi-axis wire EDM" user workshop

Advantages and application possibilities

In a free user workshop, technology partners Tebis, DCAM, Mitsubishi Electric and ITS-Technology show the theory and practice of how the optimal interaction of reliable wire EDM systems and professional CAM programming can bring your manufacturing up to speed.

The integration of additional axes for wire EDM systems has the potential to expand their performance spectrum and provide benefits such as indexed and simultaneous multi-sided machining, as well as erosive grinding. The wire EDM functions from the DCAMCUT programming environment integrated in Tebis provide critical features that enable failure-free programming of parts. This makes your manufacturing more precise, more reliable and more cost-effective. Increased machine automation and the associated technical requirements are also covered.

Continuous manufacturing

Countless studies show: 40 to 50 percent of a plant’s entire throughput time is caused by unnecessary idle periods. This is often due to a flawed material flow. In 90 percent of cases, idle periods can be drastically reduced by…
