Tebis at Meusburger Die and Mould Making Days 2016

The first Meusburger "Die and Mould Making Days" event was held on October 12 and 13, 2016. Tebis, a solution provider for industry sectors including die and mold manufacturing, had the opportunity to participate.

The two-day event was hosted by Austrian company Meusburger, a manufacturer of high-precision standard blanks; it was held in the Festspielhaus Bregenz, located on the shores of Lake Constance. The purpose was to provide a forum in which industry participants could exchange ideas, learn about the latest technology and trends and gather new ideas and food for thought. Industry experts delivered presentations on various topics related to die and mold manufacturing. In his presentation, Head of Tebis Consulting Jens Lüdtke took advantage of the opportunity to report on Industry 4.0 in die and mold manufacturing.

In a podium discussion on the topic of Industry 4.0, Jens Habenicht (Zimmer & Kreim), Thomas Seul (VDWF), Manfred Faßnacht (Meusburger), Wolfgang Faßnacht (Wolfgang Faßnacht Werkzeug- und Formenbau) and Jens Lüdtke talked about their position on the topic, what it means for the industry and the challenges that need to be overcome.  Jens Lüdtke also served as a co-moderator for the podium discussion, which was chaired by Susanne Schröder, the Editor-in-Chief of the trade magazine Form+Werkzeug.
