Tebis Consulting receives first prize in "Wirtschaftswoche" competition
We are pleased to be recognized with the "Best of Consulting Mittelstand 2018" award!
This well-known business journal recognized our team in the category of "competitive strategies".
Jens Lüdtke, head of Tebis Consulting, accepted the award, together with the entire team. "We are deeply honored to receive the award for the best competitive strategy. We are happy to be recognized for the success of our customers," said Lüdtke.
The business journal organizes one of the most comprehensive consultant assessments in Germany. Consulting companies can participate with up to 3 customer projects. Tebis participated with the project "repositioning of Formbar AG" in the "competitive strategies" category. The scientific advisory board and the jury were impressed by the huge customer benefit and long-term success of the project. "This confirms our comprehensive approach and underscores our expertise in management consulting as well as in classic process consulting," says Lüdtke.
A concept for better results
The original core competence of Swiss company Formbar AG is in foundry model making. The model and mold manufacturer was affected by the industry's tough market and price situation and decreasing utilization of capacity.
"It was a very difficult time then, and many told me that I could not do it," says Kaspar Hürlimann, managing director of Formbar AG. Based on the analysis results, Tebis Consulting worked with Formbar to develop a new target market strategy. In addition to management consulting , the concept included process consulting, training, coaching and parallel implementation.
Machine run time doubled
The result: a clear plus in efficiency and process reliability. Machine run time was doubled with the same personnel. Thanks to the resulting flexibility, Formbar acquired new customers, increased sales by 70 percent and profit by 40 percent. The company is now established in the Swiss market. "Tebis Consulting gave us outstanding support and certainly contributed significantly to the fact that we are so efficient today," says Hürlimann.
