    EMO 2019: Hall 9/Booth D15

Tebis, a specialist in CAD/CAM and MES process solutions in machine manufacturing and die and mold manufacturing, will be presenting software news and other topics to visitors at EMO (Hall 9, Booth D15, September 16-21 in Hannover, Germany). An integral part of this year's trade fair concept are the customized manufacturing processes, which can assist the industry to compensate for the growing lack of qualified personnel.

"The challenges confronting the industry over the past several years are significant," says Bernhard Rindfleisch, Tebis AG founder and chairman of the board. He explains: "Market conditions have become a lot more challenging. Many family-operated businesses will soon be passed to the next generation, and qualified personnel are becoming increasingly scarce everywhere. In addition, the classic manufacturing professions are changing due to the effects of digitalization, as are the actual manufacturing processes. With this in mind, we offer solutions to execute the entire manufacturing process more efficiently. Furthermore, Tebis allows the company's existing manufacturing environment and knowledge to be digitally stored in templates and easily accessible.”
Rindfleisch explains further: "These concepts and solutions will be presented to the visitors at this year's EMO.  We want to contribute to ensuring the future viability of our industry with our highly automated, complete CAD/CAM/MES solution."
Tebis is demonstrating its capabilities as a comprehensive solution provider – with its combination of software, services and consulting. The highly automated CAD/CAM/MES system is continuously updated and further developed to meet the changing user requirements.
The Tebis service departments have more than 60 employees, all familiar with today’s manufacturing industry. They support Tebis customers in automating their CAM programming and design. A separate consulting unit provides consulting for corporate customers to assist them in optimizing their processes as they proceed down the path of digital transformation. All of Tebis’ support and services are based on the overarching vision of a highly automated and fully networked end-to-end manufacturing environment on the user side.
Tebis will be presenting several corresponding case studies and solution packages for users at EMO this year. In addition, the following elements of Tebis’ CAD/CAM/MES software will be shown:

    NC automation with Tebis AutomillTM
It has always been Tebis' goal to help accelerate NC programming in model, mold and die manufacturing. The manufacturer will also present its NC automation at this years' EMO:
Tebis replaces conventional, repetitive manual programming steps with automated access to stored information: The application evaluates the digital CAD model of the part and accesses structured stored representations of the company's existing manufacturing environment and knowledge stored in templates to calculate the NC programs. This means that the NCSets, features and Job Manager contain proven manufacturing knowledge.
Virtual machines correspond to real machines and account for parameters such as kinematics and operating space. Virtual tools correspond to real tools and include proven cutting data. Virtual clamping devices correspond to real clamping devices
A new feature is the process library, in which Tebis combines the digital twins of all clamping devices in a single environment. Users quickly and easily define the clamping situation, based on the library, and can check it for feasibility and collisions throughout the entire NC programming process.

    Reliability and planning in manufacturing
The digital twins of the machines, tools and clamping devices that exist within the company provide not only speed but also reliability. They enable reliable unattended manufacturing for the customer. Before NC processing, Tebis reviews the NC programs for collisions in the CNC simulator. Thus, only NC programs that have been checked for collisions, based on the virtual manufacturing environment, are sent to the machine. Many customers also use the simulator as a planning tool that enables them to check feasibility and prevent collisions in advance.
With its ProLeiS MES solution, Tebis also offers its customers a planning and control application with which users can plan, control and evaluate their entire manufacturing processes. The data enables a detailed overview of all manufacturing projects. With this solution, Tebis supports its customers in ensuring on-time delivery while also reducing costs.
