This "pipe bracket" is flanged to a fuel line.
The bracket at the bottom was easy to manufacture, primarily using 3-axis tilted machining. In contrast, the geometric properties of the pipe required that it be manufactured mainly by 5-axis simultaneous machining. Because very high surface quality was essential, while keeping machining time as short as possible, the axis movements were precisely coordinated with each other to account for the machines’ dynamics. For example, linear axes generally move faster than rotary or pivot axes.
All movements can be precisely and flexibly optimized in Tebis CAD/CAM software.
