They are modern high-performance tools for high-efficiency prefinishing and finishing of planes and free-form surfaces. The same surface roughness is achieved on the part with a significantly larger path distance, which greatly reduces your machining times while achieving outstanding surface quality. 

    In this example, circle-segment and ball cutters have the same diameter of 10 millimeters. However, the circle-segment cutter has a radius of 250 millimeters in the cutting area, while the ball cutter has a radius of only five millimeters.
