• Defining a useful part classification together with employees from design and programming

Results

• Each designer uses the defined design guideline
• Die designs are colored according to the required tolerance, thereby reducing the necessary effort for creating drawings
• Significantly fewer inquiries to the design department from other departments
• Part classification and geometry standardization enable CAM automation to start during the programming phase
