Prerequisites
New users with a focus on CAD
Target group
Users (designers or CAM users) who frequently handle advanced CAD tasks for part preparation (designing add-ons and clamping devices)
Tebis intro for CAD users: Learn to work with external data, wire-frame models, surfaces, topologies, and solids.
After this course, you’ll be able to prepare, analyze, and repair parts and create simple designs yourself.

This basic training course familiarizes participants with the Tebis software.
It also covers the user interface and CAD data handling as well as how to import external data via interfaces. In practical exercises, participants will learn to work with wire-frame models using an associative approach and to handle and create surfaces, topologies, and solids.
Focus
- Creating and repairing surfaces with surface methods
- Analysis functions for data quality and part analysis
- Fundamentals of associative (parametric) design
Objectives
After this course, participants will be able to perform all the steps necessary for CAM preparation.
They will also be able to create simple parts and analyze and repair part data from external systems (customer data).
