    Decoding Complexity: How manufacturing companies can remain competitive in the future

    Martinsried – 09/15/2026: A wide range of variants, such as complex parts, skilled labor shortages, sophisticated manufacturing resources, high quality requirements, and increasing cost pressure are typical challenges facing manufacturing companies today. These challenges are further compounded by distributed partners and organizations, as well as ever-expanding system landscapes. At the same time, automation, digital connectivity, and artificial intelligence are opening up new opportunities to sustainably improve productivity, speed, and cost-effectiveness.

    Under the tagline “Decoding Complexity,” Tebis will demonstrate at AMB 2026 how manufacturing companies can master the challenges of increasing complexity and lay the foundation for future-proof and scalable manufacturing processes.

    By showcasing Tebis.OS, the Tebis operating system, at AMB, Tebis reveals insights into the next development steps of this approach.

    Tebis.OS combines systems, data, and processes end-to-end and across manufacturers into a mutual digital process landscape. Existing applications and investments are retained. CAD/CAM, ERP, MES, PLM, QMS, and other systems are gradually being integrated and networked with each other.

    Tebis.OS is therefore not meant to replace existing solutions but to integrate them intelligently.

    At the same time, Tebis.OS lays the foundation for the use of new technologies. Tebis understands artificial intelligence as an enabler of end-to-end processes.

    With this approach, AI supports companies in

    NEXT40 makes the future visible
    With the NEXT40 research project, Tebis has shown in exemplary fashion how new technologies, automation, and digital connectivity can be planned for future manufacturing environments.

    The project is thus emblematic of the tagline “Decoding Complexity” – giving an insight into tomorrow's manufacturing horizon.

    Bringing processes to life
    In addition, Tebis will present an interactive trade show table that demonstrates how complexity develops at modern manufacturing companies and how it can be managed.

    This table lets visitors visualize the interaction of information, decisions, systems, and processes, while teaching them about the impact of standardization, connectivity, and automation on a company’s performance.

    This makes the concept of a process provider immediately tangible.

    Shaping the future together
    At AMB, Tebis will take the opportunity to speak with selected companies about future applications and pilot projects.

    The goal is to develop new solutions in collaboration with customers and to incorporate practical experience into further development at an early stage.

    The five modules of the Tebis process provider approach combine process expertise, software, and implementation into a scalable manufacturing landscape – from analysis through connectivity up to continuous optimization.
