In the Application Days at WALDRICH COBURG on June 29 and 30, 2022, the focus was on how to align processes for future viability in the manufacture of
large molds in die and mold manufacturing. The following three questions were addressed: How can my manufacturing processes be safer? How can I become more efficient? How can I simultaneously reduce my costs?
In a nutshell: This is only possible with a
comprehensive view of the manufacturing processes. The machine, tools, machining strategies, software and
customer requirements must be precisely coordinated together. Experts from WALDRICH COBURG, MOLDINO Tool Engineering Europe and Tebis provided a practical demonstration of what that means in detail in the context of the three focus topics with a specific part: An interchangeable insert in a sheet metal die was manufactured live on the TAURUS 30 Gemini.
