    Training courses

Our training courses are an important step in ensuring that you’re optimizing the use of our CAD/CAM and MES solutions

    CAM Explorer

Basics of Tebis CAM programming for predominantly prismatic parts. Ideal for getting started with efficient and reliable 2.5D machining and simple 3D machining. Data import, part analysis, and CAM programming.

    CAD Explorer

Tebis intro for CAD users: Learn to work with external data, wire-frame models, surfaces, topologies, and solids. After this course, you’ll be able to prepare, analyze, and repair parts and create simple designs yourself.

    CAM Operator

A more in-depth CAM course with a focus on 3D machining, free-form surfaces, and multi-side programming. For anyone who wants to manufacture complex geometries reliably and economically.

    CAD Operator

Through practical examples, this course will cover associative/parametric design in Tebis and teach participants to use the Sketcher, position parts relative to each other, and create design templates.

    CAM Specialist

Develop CAM skills at the expert level. For anyone who wants to program the most demanding complex free-form and functional parts reliably and economically.

    2.5D Feature Technology

Applying feature-based automation options. For anyone who wants to efficiently machine 2.5D ruled and free-form geometries based on features.

SmartOps – “CAD for CAM” Template Technology

This training course is intended for Tebis key users working in CAM who set up and maintain Tebis SmartOps management for CAM preparation in their companies.

    2.5D NC Automation

This training course is aimed at Tebis key users who set up and maintain the feature and NCSet libraries for 2.5D ruled and free-form geometries in their companies.

    Switching from V4.0 to V4.1

In this update training course, participants will learn everything they need to know to switch from Tebis V4.0 to Tebis V4.1. It will address installation and migration issues, cover user interface changes, and demonstrate the intuitive way CAD data will be handled in future.

    Update: Tebis 4.1 Release 10

In this update training course, participants will get to know all the important new features of Tebis V4.1 R10.

    MES ProLeiS 4

Training courses for existing ProLeiS customers are available on-demand to meet your schedule and needs.

    Tool management

This training course is intended for Tebis key users who install and maintain Tebis tool management in their companies.

    Installation and Configuration

This training course is intended for Tebis key users who install and manage Tebis software in their companies.

    Clamping device library

This training course is intended for Tebis key users who install and maintain Tebis clamping device management in their companies.

    5-Axis Trimming

Participants in this course will learn how to create 5-axis simultaneous milling programs for trimming parts made of composite materials.

    5-Axis Laser Cutting

Course participants will learn how to create 5-axis simultaneous laser cutting programs.

    5-axis simultaneous milling

Course participants will learn how to generate sophisticated milling programs for simultaneously controlled 5-axis milling machines and factor in machine tool kinematics.

    Turning

Course participants will learn how to create toolpaths for 2-axis turning and drilling processes.

    Electrode Design

Course participants will learn all the functions necessary for designing, documenting, and managing electrodes.

    Measurement in the manufacturing process

This training course is intended for Tebis key users who set up and maintain CAM template management in their company.

    Programming with virtual machines

Course participants will use virtual machines to learn how to plan, check, and optimize manufacturing processes.

    Exact Solid Preparation

Through practical examples, course participants will learn to create exact geometries for small parts (for example, trim and coining steels, blank holder attachments).

    Surface Design Plus

Course participants will learn about the time-saving functions for designing profile, extension, shift, fill, and class-A surfaces.

    Surface modeling

Course participants will learn how to optimize surface structures, surface contours, and transitions.

    Reverse engineering

Course participants will learn the standard functions for reverse engineering, including fitting of standard geometries.

    Surface morphing

Course participants will learn how to deform surface models based on various deformation rules.

    Digitized data processing

Course participants will learn how to prepare digitized data for subsequent reverse engineering or NC programming.

    Active Surface Design

In practical examples, course participants will learn how to create transition-free pressure areas in active die surfaces and to automatically relieve and flatten active surface radii in drawing operations.
